Welcome to my website! I am a private flute teacher in the North Austin/Pflugerville, Texas area. Here you’ll find helpful information about enhancing your enjoyment when you play the flute and some things about me as a solo performer, orchestra player, and flute teacher.

Gloria Manavi, Sr. at LBJ Early College High School in Austin, First Chair, All-Region 2018 and a Superior rating on her solo performance of Chaminade's Concertino!
Maggie Matheny, Owasso H.S., won Second Chair in the All State Wind Symphony 2015 for the second year in a row. She won one of just two flute positions for summer 2014 at the Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain, her second year there. She is also a member of the Tulsa Youth Symphony and is receiving scholarship money for music study at college in the fall of 2015, successfully auditioning with works by Saint-Saens and Mercadante.
All the students made Superiors at solo competition on in March 2015 playing works by Bach, Kent Kennan, and Honegger.

Courtney Mantle, 1st Chair All State (Jan. 2013) and a former member of the Tulsa Youth Symphony, placed in the top four flutes after her audition as a music scholarship freshman at Univ. of Oklahoma in August 2013. The auditions included graduate students. She is the principal flute in the Univ. of Oklahoma Symphony band.
Maxwell Keogh was 4th Chair All State Band (Jan. 2013), a member of the Tulsa Youth Symphony, and is now on scholarship at Univ. of No. Colorado, studying music. Maxwell won second chair in the freshman/sophomore concert band at the university in August 2013.
